Whilst this ticket is sequentially before the one above, one would presume the original STATS-backed stock would be used first

By the VM prefix, the large PENSIONER EXCURSION had been moved to the top of the ticket. All other printing as above.

Not sure about the prefix sequence but the next letters appear to commence in the "C _" range.
The large PENSIONER EXCURSION had been moved to the middle of the ticket
and the individual ticket number is printed perpendicularly to the left of this.
This series progresses to at least the DQ prefix and is on precut card.
Not all tickets in this series have a registration hole.

Commencing with the DQ prefix, pale yellow precut card was used. DQ prefix on precut white card is also known.
All other details are identical with the above. Not all tickets in this series have a registration hole.
This series progressed at least to EH.

The next few series alternate between white precut card and pale yellow precut card and are identical with the two above.
Rather than illustrate each, the known prefixes will be listed.

ET to EY - White card
FG to FQ - pale yellow card
FT to GB - white card
GJ to IP - pale yellow card
IW to ?? - white card
JB to JU - pale yellow card
JU to JY - white card



By the JU prefix, the wording "DO NOT BEND THIS TICKET" had been made bolder.

By July 1994, a series on an almost chrome yellow card appeared. They were far ahead of the current sequence,
with scattered prefixes from RG to VC known. A 1997-issued series in this style with prefixes between FD to FQ is also known.

There are at least five different print styles of "PENSIONER EXCURSION" in the sidebar as shown below.

ISSUING DETAILS on the BACKS

The original style at left was in use between March and November 1992. The second style (right) showed the fare paid in larger print
and altered the wording to "VALID FOR TODAY", omitting "ONLY", and was in use until at least the 18th August 1994.
The final style used on the Pensioner Excursion blank card stock (bottom) reduced the printing to 3 lines.
